Visp is at the crossroads to and from Zermatt, Saas Fee and many other ski and hiking resorts of the Swiss alps. It is on the way back to Lausanne and Geneva, Bern, Zurich and Basel. The old town of Visp is also worth a peek.

Most hotels in Visp are three star, all modern and conveniently situated not far from the train station. Only the Seminary St. Jodern, slightly better value, is situated behind the hospital of Visp.
